Biography

Steve Moore is a retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent with 25 years of experience. He worked on high-profile crimes in Los Angeles, including the first anthrax threat conviction, the Buford Furrow shooting, and an intercepted oil refinery attack. He also led the LA 9/11 investigation and oversaw all Al Qaeda investigations for the LA FBI.  Early career:  Covert operations against the Aryan Nations, SWAT team member, sniper training, and undercover espionage work  High-profile cases:  Anthrax threat conviction, Buford Furrow shooting, and foiled oil refinery attack  9/11 and Al Qaeda:  Case agent for the LA 9/11 investigation and supervisor of LA FBI's Al Qaeda investigations  Asian terrorism:  Led the FBI squad that responded to US terrorism in Asia and Pakistan, investigating bombings in Karachi and Jakarta  Retirement:  Retired in 2008 and became Deputy Director of Public Safety at Pepperdine University  Current work:  Private investigator, media commentator on crime and investigations, and charter jet pilot  Media appearances:  The Today Show, CBS This Morning, 48 Hours, Good Morning America, Nightline, and 20/20  Books:  Author of 'Special Agent Man: My Life in the FBI as a Terrorist Hunter', 'Helicopter Pilot', and 'Certified Sniper'
