Overview
A compelling film about British Mountaineers Andy Kirkpatrick and Ian Parnell's controversial winter attempt to repeat Jean-Christophe Lafaille's groundbreaking route on the west face of the Drus, a route dubbed the hardest big wall in Europe. One can count the number of Brits who are bold enough to play this game on a pair of frostbitten fingers, and Andy and Ian are both experienced in the art of suffering.
