Overview

A film about the abandoned border town Brennero / Brenner, which has been seized by a new busyness due to current events. In the form of a cycle of a year Julia Gutweniger and Florian Kofler follow how local routines, perpetual transit traffic and people come together, who are forced by the violence of political systems into new biographies. Whereas large portions of the original population have long since left, refugees find temporary shelter in the old barracks and abandoned train station buildings, before they are deported again.
