Overview

The Bachelor, Daniil Dankovsky, has spent a week entrenched in death, disease, superstition, local politics, and his own personal hell. The Inquisitor is coming to determine the fate of the town and its people and the threat of destruction from the army looms. Daniil must not only protect is Bound from the Sand Pest wreaking havoc in the streets, but he himself must survive to see The Powers that Be's final decision on his own fate and the fate of the player. In this film, Ruby Seals takes on the role of player surrogate to help us experience the gripping story of a game unfit for human consumption. In Act 2, she takes us through the second half of the Russian cult classic video game while exploring how the medium of video games can push the player to uncomfortable lengths in a way that other mediums have been striving to create for centuries.
