Due to the outbreak of the Afghan civil war shortly after its completion, this film never received its official theatrical premiere. For over three decades, it remained locked away in the archives—an untouched time capsule of a golden era of Afghan filmmaking. Now, for the very first time, the original Final Cut of the film is being presented to the public exactly as it was intended to be seen.
