In 1986, sponsored by MTV, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s college fundraiser 'Students Against MS' awarded a concert to be taped on the campus that raised the most money. Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh was the national winner, and the band performing live at the Syria Mosque... The Bangles!
