Overview
A bitter feud between the Wilkinson and Caulfield families turns tragic when the Colonel’s young son is killed. Despite the hatred, Bobby Wilkinson and Nellie Caulfield secretly remain lovers for 10 years and eventually elope, leading Colonel Wilkinson to disown his son. Two years later, Bobby's family faces a bleak Christmas with their infant boy. Desperate for food, their loyal servant steals a turkey from the Colonel’s estate. The Colonel tracks the thief to Bobby’s home, intent on confrontation. However, seeing his baby grandson melts his anger, ending the generational feud over a shared Christmas dinner.
