Overview
Kiss follows a lonesome man and his awkward interactions with those he encounters in the course of normal events. His failed attempts at human interaction lead to the discovery of solace in an unexpected form, a cup of coffee. The birth of a fetish is detailed as he realizes that connection can be found in remnants captured in the most unlikely of places. Kiss is a document of loneliness and isolation. Utilizing just two long takes, the film was shot with available lighting in B&W on 16mm film in the heart of Portland (Fuller's Coffee Shop), Oregon with unknown actors.
