Romeo Vitug

A prominent cinematographer for film and television, Romeo "Romy" Vitug began as a photojournalist and newsreel cameraman in the late 1950s before he ventured into cinematography years later. He died on 18 January 2024, nine days shy of his 87th birthday, due to blood cancer.
