Brennan McMahon is a screenwriter and author drawn to stories deeply grounded in history, layered with meaning, and shaped by complex human choices. He has worked on productions including Prison Break, Chase, Walking Tall, The Deep End, Cheaters, Mongolian Death Worm, and Mafia Wars. Most recently, he wrote the novel and screenplay for Kings, a work reflecting his fascination with power, legacy, and the echoes of the past. He also authored Article 39, continuing his focus on character-driven screen storytelling. He is the creator of The Sunbird Collection, which includes Leviathan, Kings, and Endor. His work explores myth, faith, history, and the tension between ancient truths and modern identity. Writing American Gothic poetry under Professor Peppercorn, he leans into mood, memory, and the weight of inherited stories. Whether for the screen or the page, he is drawn to stories that feel timeless—stories that wrestle with where we come from, what we believe, and what we choose to build next.
