**Sanzhar Madi (Madiev)** is a Kazakhstani actor and director. He was born on **August 4, 1986**, in **Almaty**. Madi's film career began during his **second year of university**, when he started acting in commercials. His **big-screen debut** took place in **2009**, when he was offered the lead role in **Kuat Isaev’s** detective action film *"The Other Side"*. Some of the other films he has starred in include: *"City of Dreams"*, *"The Tale of the Pink Rabbit"*, *"The Return"*, *"My Heart – Astana"*, *"The Book of Legends: The Mysterious Forest"*, *"Girlfriends"*, *"Knight’s Move"*, *"Ghost Hunting"*, *"The Golden Horde"*, and others.
