Biography
One of the world's most notorious paedophile priests, Father Vincent Gerard Ryan has spent over 17 years in prison for the sexual abuse of at least 37 boys in the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, Australia. Despite his superiors knowing about his offending for decades, Ryan has not been laicised (defrocked) by successive Popes and remains a priest of the Catholic Church. Ryan's 2019 criminal trial was featured in Revelation and his interview with Sarah Ferguson is the first time a serving Catholic priest has spoken about his sexual abuse of children on camera.
