Biography

Kerry Gamberg is a multi award winning Director, Writer, Producer and Fixer based in St. John's, Canada. In 2017, Kerry was the recipient of the RBC Michelle Jackson Emerging Filmmaker Award for her script CRUSH, as well as the NIFCO Picture Start 11 Program for her award winning script ASKIN' FOR IT. Both short films went into production in the spring of 2018, with Kerry as the Director. ASKIN' FOR IT, Kerry's first short, premiered at FINN (Aug 2018) in Halifax, Canada. To date, it has garnered multiple awards, nominations and critical acclaim at various festivals. ASKIN' FOR IT will continue on the festival circuit through 2019, while being developed into a feature film, with the production goal of Fall 2019. Kerry's second short, CRUSH, premiered at the closing night gala of the 29th St. John's International Women's Film Festival (Oct 2018), and has since won multiple awards at various competitions. CRUSH will continue on the festival circuit through 2019.
