He entered the spotlight after winning the 2012 Course Évasion autour du monde, a round-the-world reality documentary competition, then completed several projects, including the series Le bonheur en Scandinavie (2013), which went on to garner several Gémeaux Award nominations. In 2018, he founded the production company Frangin. Since then, Dubé’s credits have included both producer (Le peuple de la mer, 2023) and director (A Tempo, 2019) roles, through which he’s explored new ways of telling rich, meaningful stories, consistently striving for cohesion of form and content.
