His work is influenced by political cinema and social realism, as evidenced in Oasis, a documentary that portrays the lives of queer immigrants in Mexico City and received a mention in the prestigious José Rovirosa Award. With each project, he seeks for cinema to transcend representation and become an act of questioning and social transformation.
