Biography
Sara Boutorabi is an Iranian-American filmmaker, raised in California, and based in New York City. She graduated from the University of California Berkeley with a dual degree in Rhetoric and Film & Media. She received an MFA from Columbia University in the Screenwriting & Directing program. Her thesis film, BITA JOON, received a Special Mention for Best U.S. Student Short at its world premiere at Palm Springs ShortFest in 2024.
