Overview
Cosmetic surgery is on the rise with more and more people going under the knife in an attempt to improve their image. Television presenter and mum-of-two, Cherry Healey, sets out to explore the rising trend and availability of cosmetic surgery procedures, both at home in the UK, and abroad. Cherry interviews a selection of British women who are planning, or have already had, various kinds of surgery, to understand why this craze has so much support. Hoping to learn more about the procedures people are having, Cherry embarks on a journey of discovery, looking at the UK and the rest of the world to investigate why so many feel the need to change their appearance. To grapple with the true extent of the cosmetic surgery industry, Cherry also travels to the United States of America and Brazil, where procedures are very common.
