Jeva Jones (Jean Carol), an agent who noticed Paul during his storytelling showcase, brings exciting news: CBS is reviving Guiding Light, and she wants to submit Paul for a starring role in the reboot. But the audition isn’t without its challenges—Paul finds himself up against his arch-nemesis and occasional fling, Bauer McBride (Christopher Robert Smith). While Bauer may have the looks, Paul has a potential advantage: Breeze, the casting director overseeing the audition, is an old friend. Just as Paul starts to feel confident, his life is thrown into turmoil by an unexpected visit from his mother, Mo (Jacklyn Zeman), who thrusts him into his own real-life soap opera... or does she? As Paul fights for his life, Susan Coochie reappears, offering crucial advice. The season culminates with Paul’s inner light being extinguished, setting the stage for a desperate call to #ReigniteTheLight!
