Season 2

Ride shotgun with the Heartland Bowhunter crew during their highly anticipated sophomore season. Tag along as the team brings hunts from all across the Midwest and even Canada to your living room!

1. 1. Velvet

   The guys are in North Dakota hunting early season velvet whitetails. This is one of the few states where you can hunt velvet deer and the hunting is spectacular.

2. 2. Relentless

   Opening day in Missouri with friends from Buck Commander.

3. 3. Sandburr

   Spot and stalk mule deer hunting with Scott and Jeremy Coon out of Deer Meadows Outfitters in Nebraska.

4. 4. Teamwork

   The team gets back home and the deer action is picking up! With it being early in the season, they decide to put four guys in one tree to see if team work will make the dream work.

5. 5. Pre-Rut

   Late October has every deer hunter hurrying to their stand. Jeff has his Iowa tag and is headed to the land of giants! After having to hurry home for a get together, Jeff punches his first Missouri tag for the season.

6. 6. Iowa

   Jeff is headed back to Iowa to try to fill his tag with the help of Whitetail Properties.

7. 7. Kansas

   Jeff and the Heartland Bowhunter crew hook up with Shawn Mahaffey, of Whitetail Authority, to hunt Kansas during the rut.

8. 8. Tallboy

   Hunting in southern Kansas for a buck nicknamed Tallboy.

9. 9. Thanksgiving

   The crew heads out for their annual thanksgiving hunt.

10. 10. Honkers

    Archery goose hunting makes for a great social event. We are always looking for ways to lengthen our season, and geese present for a ton of shooting... and missing. After the season is over, we take the longbows pheasant hunting.

11. 11. Cedar Ridge

    It is time to pack up the tents and head out spring turkey hunting. The guys are in for a huge surprise when a storm covers them in nearly a foot of snow.

12. 12. Spring Gobblers

    Shed and turkey hunting make up a large amount of the time we spend in the spring. It is exciting to know what bucks might have made it through the season and what to look forward to for next year!

13. 13. Canada

    This is Jeff's first time out of the country, first time bear hunting, and the fist time hunting with his fiance, Trish. This makes for a whole lot of firsts as they head to go black bear hunting in British Columbia.
