He gives the family advice on how to get their home ready for his open viewing two weeks later. But getting the house ready is going to be a job that pushes the family to their limits...

2. East Midlands

Phil takes on a two bed terrace in one of the toughest property markets in the UK as he heads to Syston in the East Midlands. Dan and Lisa are desperate sell up and move closer to work and family but their house just won't budge. Phil has a snoop around, and discovers a boring garden in need of a good dose of TLC and an even bigger dose of weed killer, a living room that looks more like a crèche, and a dog that doesn't know where to do its business.
