Maharaja Lawak Mega 2011

For the first time, famous comedians from Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia who have made a name for themselves in the art field join together on stage as participants in Maharaja Lawak Mega. The combination of veteran comedians and contemporary comedians makes this program the best platform in producing new, fresh and innovative performances and comedy works. For the 2011 edition, comedians who have participated in comedy competitions are not allowed to compete in Maharaja Lawak Mega 2011 as an appreciation and to give existing comedians a chance to reinvent themselves in the industry. A total of 17 participants representing their respective countries, namely 12 comedians from Malaysia, 3 comedians from Indonesia and 2 comedians from Singapore participated in Maharaja Lawak Mega.

   Held at the MBJB Indoor Stadium, Johor Bahru. Themes were "Folktale" and "Family Stories". Pi Mai was eliminated.

    Taking place at the Malawati Shah Alam Stadium. Themes were free and "Musical Comedy". Osbon was crowned champion, Boboi in second place, and Saehu in third place.
