The protagonist, Shiro Amakasu, moved to Tokyo but, after failing his university entrance exams, gave up studying. He never found a job and drifted through life carefreely, living from day to day. Just as Shiro was about to abandon everything and return to his parents’ home, a man calling himself “Angel”, Seshinmi Tendo, appeared and warned him that he would die if he failed to complete a “proposition”. Introduced to the mail-order business MONO Company by his best friend Masato Nakatsugawa, Shiro finds employment and, with the help of Tendo and his colleagues, manages to overcome a series of propositions. This is a comedic coming-of-age story about Shiro Amakasu, depicting what it truly means to live life to the fullest. The series ran for 11 episodes with an average audience rating of 13.4%. Two special episodes were broadcast after the main series concluded.

    Shiro, who has long given up all hope of ever passing the college entrance exam, has been living the life of a pessimistic wastrel. One day, he’s accosted by Tendo who claims to be an angel. If, by 1:30 PM tomorrow, Shiro doesn’t mend his ways and learn to sincerely desire to live, he will die!
